Report of student Iryna Statkevskaya of the Institute of Business and Information Technologies, Odesa – Erasmus+ students mobility for study

I participated in the Erasmus+ KA1 project at Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Pozega (Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek) during the summer semester of 2023-24 academic year. In addition to the main disciplines, there was the possibility of expanding the range of subjects and getting acquainted with courses outside the economic course. The Faculty made it possible to live in a student dormitory with local students and other program participants. This gave me the opportunity to meet new people not only from Croatia but also from Tuky, Spain and moldova, the mentality of other country and the culture. In the evenings, we played board games, watched movies, cooked various dishes and all together improved our knowledge of the English language.

The time spent in Croatia brought me wonderful new acquaintances, many shared memories and incredible experiences of independence, self-organization and communication in different life situations. I am very grateful to our Academy for the opportunity to be part of the Erasmus+ program.
