The Faculty's quality assurance system focuses on ensuring and improving the quality of study programs, the teaching process, scientific research and professional work, international cooperation and collaboration with other external stakeholders, and lifelong learning. The goal of the system is to provide consistent, verified, and effective mechanisms to enhance all activities of the Faculty, ensuring the best services and achieving desired results for students, employees, and other system stakeholders.
The Faculty's internal quality assurance system is established in accordance with the Law on Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Science (NN 151/2022) and aligned with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).
Quality assurance, as well as its development and promotion of a quality culture, is a continuous process at the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega. For the purpose of quality assurance, foundational documents have been created: the Regulations on the Organisation and Operation of the Quality Assurance System, the Quality Assurance Manual, the Quality Policy, and the Development Strategy. Organisational bodies have been established, and mechanisms for quality monitoring and improvement have been defined. Some of these mechanisms include:
- Action plans and implementation reports
- Internal reports and key performance indicators
- Stakeholder surveys (students, teachers, alumni, employers, etc.)
- Support for various student groups (programme directors, demonstrators, mentor and coordinator for students with disabilities, etc.)
- Information gathering, analysis, monitoring and reporting on performance results
