Erasmus+ mobility Cyprus - Marija Grgić, Tina Matoković, and Lara Zadravec

The students of the professional undergraduate study of Enogastronomy, Marija Grgić, Tina Matoković and Lara Zadravec, were on mobility for professional practice in the period from May 1 to July 31, 2024, in Cyprus in the famous Mediterranean tourist destination, the city of Ayia Napa, as part of the Erasmus+ program. They did their traineeship at the 5-star Grecian Bay Hotel (Grecian chain of Greek hotels). The link for realising the mobility was the partner institution InterNapa College, Sotira, Cyprus.

The internship in the field of serving food lasted three months. In cooperation with the restaurant manager and other employees, the students gained experience in the functioning of bars and restaurants. They got acquainted with the daily tasks and obligations that facility managers face in their work performance. Apart from the busy schedule and work at the Hotel, the girls came back full of impressions and with an offer to come back. The family atmosphere that reigned in the Hotel brought them many new friendships from different countries and cultures. An enjoyable and unforgettable experience!
