In the period from April 13 to 17, 2026, as part of the Erasmus+ KA1 staff mobility program for training and teaching purposes, employees of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega - Mirjana Jeleč Raguž, Mirna Harwood and Jasmina Mlađenović - stayed at the Institute of Tourism Studies, Luqa, Malta.
Mirjana Jeleč Raguž held a class for students of the Institute on the topic "Tourism 2035: Between Profitability and Sustainability". Mirna Harwood and Jasmina Mlađenović attended the mentioned lecture together with Mirjana Jeleč Raguž and attended a whole series of lectures where they exchanged experiences, methods of work, teaching methods, evaluation methods and got to know better about the work and organization of the Institute as well as culture and customs in Malta.
During the stay, working meetings were held with the Erasmus coordinator and the head of the quality office, and the participants visited the premises of the institution: the library, the quality office, teaching bases, teaching halls, including practical teaching locations - restaurants, as well as the Institute's separate location on the island of Gozo.
In addition to the official part of the program, the participants took the opportunity to get to know the cultural and gastronomic peculiarities of Malta - which further enriched the overall experience and enabled a deeper understanding of the local context.
