The Traditional International Erasmus Week Has Begun

The traditional International Erasmus Week has commenced at the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega, during which guests from various European and global institutions will present their institutions to students and faculty members. Among the participants are Brigitte Ragusa from the Institute of Tourism Studies in Malta, Robert Edward Sufiani and David Sanyiwa Muya from the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, Sherilyn Acorn from the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada, and Mahir Zajmović from the University “Vitez” in Travnik. During the introductory session, the participants presented their faculties, study programs, and examples of good scientific practices from their respective countries. Throughout the week, the guests will hold lectures and workshops in the fields of tourism, marketing, and informatics, providing students with valuable international experiences and perspectives. In addition to the academic program, as part of Erasmus Week and in celebration of Grgurevo, the participants will visit the landmarks of the city of Požega and become acquainted with the rich cultural and historical heritage of this region. Erasmus Week represents an important opportunity for knowledge exchange, networking, and strengthening international cooperation while simultaneously allowing guests to gain deeper insight into Croatian culture and traditions.
