At the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega, as part of the course Development Projects and EU Funds, a presentation of innovative student project ideas was held, focusing on sustainability, health, and cooperation with the business sector. Seven students from Cochin University of Science and Technology in India presented two projects: one aimed at reducing food industry waste and establishing a center for education and by-product processing, and another focused on the development of functional food from local resources, along with education for youth and producers. Following this, Croatian students presented nine of their own project ideas, encouraging the exchange of knowledge and experiences among students from various fields of study.
This event stands as a strong example of successful international collaboration and practical application of knowledge, with a special focus on current social and environmental challenges.
